Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, the Minister of State for Education, remarked, “The India Research Tour embodies the spirit of innovation and growth and aligns with the country”s priorities of advancing research and discovery. Initiatives like One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) represent a historic leap for education and will catalyze research through various government and partnered initiatives. Our aim is to make research inclusive and globally inspiring. As a nation, we have the capacity and capability to achieve much more, and I encourage researchers to pursue their work with passion and determination.”

Prof. Dhananjay Singh, member secretary of the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR), added, “The India Research Tour reflects the Government of India”s commitment to enhancing the national research and innovation ecosystem. This is achieved through collaboration, capacity building, and equitable access to knowledge. As a critical partner, ICSSR acknowledges the importance of advancing open access, promoting research integrity, and encouraging interdisciplinary engagement among institutions. These initiatives align with our policy objective of fostering a more inclusive and globally connected research environment that empowers scholars to contribute to India”s social, economic, and developmental goals.”
