On the evening of October 31, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) conducted a significant torch march, known as Mashaal Juloos, at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). The procession commenced at Ganga Dhaba and culminated at Barak Hostel, attracting hundreds of students from various faculties and centers within the university.
The event was led by key candidates from ABVP”s central panel, including Vikas Patel for President, Tanya Kumari for Vice President, Rajeshwar Kant Dubey for General Secretary, and Anuj for Joint Secretary. Participants brandished torches and energized the campus with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.”
Arun Srivastava, the Chief Campaign Coordinator for ABVP JNU, remarked, “Today, we organized a grand torch march from Ganga Dhaba to Barak Hostel, which witnessed an unprecedented turnout of students. The enthusiasm and participation clearly show that the Left”s dominance in JNU is coming to an end, and ABVP is set to make a strong comeback, winning all four seats in the upcoming JNUSU elections.”
