WTA Celebrates Global Style and Culture with Iconic 2025 Finals Portraits

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, November 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — In anticipation of the WTA Finals presented by PIF, which conclude the tennis season, prominent female tennis stars showcase how sport and style continue to enhance the global growth and cultural appeal of tennis. Today, the WTA (Women”s Tennis Association) unveiled official portraits featuring players in designer outfits.

This year”s portraits not only reflect the pioneering spirit of the WTA but also celebrate the strength and individuality of the superstars who are not only transforming the sport but also influencing culture at large. Players donned outfits from a variety of international designers, including Coco Gauff in an exclusive creation by Miu Miu, Jasmine Paolini in Brunello Cucinelli, Aryna Sabalenka in Alberta Ferretti, Iga Swiatek in a custom design by Lurline (a Saudi brand founded by sisters Sarah and Siham Albinali), Taylor Townsend in Hervé Léger, and Luisa Stefani in Altuzarra, among others.

“It was wonderful to see everyone dressed in different styles, and getting ready is always fun,” remarked Gauff, the reigning singles champion of the WTA Finals. “We spend the entire year moving from tournament to tournament in sportswear. This was a chance to express our personalities and styles and to be seen in a different light.”

This year”s official portraits were captured by the award-winning Yemeni-Egyptian-American artist Yumna Al-Arashi at Bab AlSaad, a cultural center in the historic district of Diriyah. Creative direction and styling were overseen by SJS Studios from New York. Each portrait features the top eight singles players and doubles pairs in the world.

Over the next eight days, these athletes will compete for a record prize pool of 15.5 million dollars, with the undefeated singles champion set to receive an unprecedented 5.235 million dollars—marking the highest payout in the history of women”s sports. The singles champion will be awarded the Billie Jean King Trophy, while the winning doubles team will receive the Martina Navratilova Trophy.

The competition kicks off on Saturday, November 1, at the King Saud University Sports Arena and continues until November 8.
