Babcock University Researcher Adetayo Adebowale Named Among Top Global Scientists Again

Dr. Adetayo Adebowale, a lecturer in the Department of Information Resources Management at Babcock University, located in Ilishan Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, has achieved the remarkable distinction of being named among the world”s top two percent of scientists for the second consecutive year. This recognition comes from a recent update of the 2025 data from Stanford University and Elsevier.

The prestigious ranking identifies the most influential researchers worldwide across 22 scientific disciplines and 174 sub-disciplines. The methodology behind this recognition is particularly noteworthy, as it evaluates nearly seven million researchers globally. The assessment employs standardized metrics, including citation counts, the h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, and a composite c-score, both considering and excluding self-citations.
