After a challenging period where costs exceeded 100 euros per megawatt hour (MWh), data from the OMIE (Iberian Energy Market Operator) indicates a first substantial decline.
On this Sunday, there are no price segments above 100 euros/MWh. The highest costs are recorded between 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM, as well as from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, both periods seeing rates above 70 euros per megawatt hour.
Conversely, the afternoon hours present the most economical options for consumers. Notably, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the average marginal price drops to zero, making it an ideal time for usage.
