The weather forecast for Spain indicates a significant increase in rainfall as October comes to a close and November begins. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has shared its weekly predictions through social media channels, highlighting the expected weather patterns.
According to meteorological experts, including Mario Picazo, many areas will need umbrellas, particularly in western regions where rainfall will be most substantial. The AEMET has outlined the weather for the upcoming days, anticipating rain on Tuesday, October 28, and Wednesday in the western half of the peninsula, with lesser precipitation expected in central and southwestern areas.
As the week progresses, the forecast for Thursday includes showers affecting the eastern peninsula and the Balearic Islands, with further rain expected in the extreme western regions by the end of the day. Halloween, which falls on Friday, October 31, is also expected to see rain across the western half of Spain.
On Saturday, November 1, which marks All Saints” Day, persistent rain is forecasted for the northwestern quadrant of the peninsula. The AEMET warns that some areas may experience particularly heavy rainfall during this period.
Temperatures are expected to remain typical for this time of year, as stated by the agency. Looking ahead to the week starting November 3, the AEMET anticipates continued rainfall in the western peninsula, although specific details of that forecast have not yet been fully disclosed.
