Jennifer Lawrence recently opened up about her body changes following the birth of her second child with husband Cooke Maroney earlier this year. While the actress typically keeps her personal life private, she has shared insights into her postpartum experience and the impact it has had on her body.
At 35 years old, Lawrence reflected on how her anatomy has changed since giving birth, revealing her plans to undergo breast augmentation surgery in November. She noted that after the birth of her first child, things returned to normal more or less. “Everything came back, practically, after the first one,” she said. However, her current decision is not solely influenced by public scrutiny. “Perhaps I wouldn”t rush so much to go to the appointment,” she added.
In addition to the breast surgery, Lawrence has discussed other cosmetic treatments, including Botox, which she uses carefully to maintain her facial expressions. She also expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of a facelift in the future, stating, “Believe me, I will!”
The experience of motherhood has significantly transformed both her personal and professional life. “It”s brutal and amazing,” she remarked. “Not only do I consider them in every decision about whether I work, where I work, and when, but they have taught me… Well, I didn”t know I could feel so much and that my work is deeply connected to emotions.” She elaborated on how motherhood has enhanced her creativity, describing it as a sensitive experience that has profoundly influenced her artistic expression. “It”s almost like feeling a blister or something; it”s very sensitive,” she explained. “So, obviously, they have transformed me creatively. I highly recommend having children if you want to be an actor.”
Lawrence and Maroney are already parents to their first child, Cy, who was born in February 2022. Although the name of their second child has yet to be confirmed, recent photographs obtained by Page Six showed keychains with the names Cy and Louie.
