The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for 2025 is set to occur on October 26, 2025, in Karachi, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The examination will be conducted at NED University and Daw University”s Ojha Campus. In a conversation with City21, Dr. Azim Khan, the Registrar of Sindh University, urged students to concentrate on their preparations. He stated, “New candidates must understand the method of MDCAT.”
This year, the MDCAT will take place across 35 venues nationwide, including a center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A total of 140,125 candidates have registered for the exam, demonstrating a significant interest among students in pursuing careers in the healthcare field.
Universities overseeing the examination have been instructed to uphold the highest standards in the development, analysis, and printing of the test papers. It is crucial that the contents of the examination strictly adhere to the syllabus established by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) to ensure fairness and transparency.
Moreover, authorities have emphasized that all questions must be accurate and relevant to the prescribed syllabus, ensuring a fair competition for all participants.
This large turnout of candidates reflects the growing aspirations of students aiming to enter the medical and dental professions in Pakistan.
