The PMA Lahore recently hosted the 4th National Radiology Mock Course at the PMA House in Lahore. This one-day event took place on a Sunday and was jointly organized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), the Radiological Society of Pakistan, and the Pediatric Radiology Society of Pakistan.
More than 50 postgraduate trainee doctors from various regions of the province participated in this educational initiative. At the end of the course, Prof Dr Ashraf Nizami, a senior leader within PMA Lahore, addressed the attendees. He underscored the objectives and importance of such training programs, commending the efforts of Dr Wajid Ali, the General Secretary of PMA Lahore and the Course Organizer, for the successful execution of the event.
Prof Nizami emphasized that initiatives like these are proving to be highly advantageous for postgraduate trainees in enhancing their practical skills and knowledge in radiology.
Dr Wajid Ali announced plans for future preparatory courses that will extend to other medical specialties. These include Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Pathology, and Medicine, indicating a broader commitment to the educational development of medical professionals.
