PMA Lahore Conducts 4th National Radiology Mock Course for Trainees

The PMA Lahore recently hosted the fourth edition of its national radiology mock course at PMA House Lahore. This one-day educational event took place on Sunday and was collaboratively organized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), the Radiological Society of Pakistan, and the Pediatric Radiology Society of Pakistan.

More than 50 postgraduate trainee doctors from various regions of the province attended the program, which aimed to enhance their radiological skills and knowledge. At the end of the course, Prof Dr Ashraf Nizami, a senior figure within PMA Lahore, addressed the participants. He underscored the importance of the training and its objectives, acknowledging the valuable contributions made by the organizers.

Dr Wajid Ali, the General Secretary of PMA Lahore and the Course Organizer, received commendation for his efforts in successfully executing the program. He noted that initiatives like these are proving to be extremely beneficial for postgraduate trainees seeking to improve their expertise in radiology.

Looking ahead, Dr Wajid Ali announced plans for PMA to conduct similar preparatory courses across various medical specialties. Future courses are expected to cover fields such as orthopedic surgery, general surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, ophthalmology, pathology, and medicine.
