This research has yielded “promising results,” particularly when combined with traditional clinical variables.
On October 28, the IISPV reported that preliminary findings, published in the Journal of Urology, indicate this method could enhance early detection of prostate cancer. It may also help identify patients at an increased risk of recurrence following curative treatment and assist in monitoring individuals under active surveillance for this type of tumor.
