Wireless Media Group (WMG) has made a significant contribution to the healthcare sector by donating a multifunctional electrosurgical system to the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia. This advanced device is expected to enhance treatment quality and improve working conditions for both healthcare professionals and patients.

The newly donated equipment is designed for use in cutting-edge surgical procedures, delivering increased precision, safety, and efficiency in medical practice. This donation underscores WMG”s ongoing commitment to initiatives that directly elevate healthcare standards in Serbia.

“WMG believes that actions speak louder than words. Through our various activities, both as a company and through the WMG Foundation, we aim to give back to the community and contribute to its development. This donation of a multifunctional electrosurgical system to the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia is a step to support healthcare professionals and specifically assist women battling breast cancer,” stated Ana Aleksić, a member of WMG”s management board and CEO of WMG Media.

WMG”s donation comes at a crucial time when there is a heightened focus on preventive measures and improving treatment conditions for women diagnosed with breast cancer. The new electrosurgical system is anticipated to significantly enhance treatment quality, ensuring a higher degree of precision and safety for patients facing this diagnosis.

“The donation of this electrosurgical system to our institute is of tremendous importance. It will aid in improving the quality of care that our doctors provide, thereby enhancing patient safety,” emphasized Milan Žegarac, PhD, Assistant Professor and Acting Director of the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia. “Breast cancer is the most prevalent malignancy among women, and we perform all forms of modern treatment daily. Supportive gestures like this enable us to enhance our working conditions and deliver more effective care to women dealing with this disease.”

The donation was formally presented during a fashion show titled “THE WINNERS,” part of the project “Prevention as a Guarantee,” which aims to raise awareness about the critical importance of preventive check-ups and early detection of breast cancer.

WMG considers social responsibility to be a fundamental aspect of its business operations. The initiatives driven by the WMG Foundation reflect this commitment, combining knowledge, technology, and compassion to create lasting values that support the community and its most vulnerable members.
