Anabel Pantoja, a contestant on the Telecinco show “Bailando con las estrellas,” has voiced her displeasure with her fellow participants. She feels that some of them believe they are destined for grand performances akin to those in “The Lion King.”
Pantoja has been facing criticism from the show”s jury, who believe she is performing below the standard set by her peers. This sentiment has been echoed among other contestants, who do not see her as a strong contender for the competition”s final prize. Such feedback has led Pantoja to express her frustrations openly.
She clarified that her intention for joining “Bailando con las estrellas” was not to win but to enjoy herself and escape from daily life. “I came here happy and eager to have fun, but I have realized,” she explained regarding her participation in the contest.
Dressed as a character from the Netflix series “Wednesday,” Pantoja has made efforts over the past week to counter the negative feedback. She previously stated that it is important for everyone to be kind and supportive during performances. However, she decided that from now on, she would keep her positive energy for herself.
Her recent choreography, inspired by “Wednesday,” received some praise from Inmaculada Casal, a jury member, who remarked, “I saw you very much in character as the Addams family member; it was entertaining for us.”
