The Vice-Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), S. Vijaya Bhaskar Rao, has advocated for a multi-disciplinary approach to enhance knowledge and research at Cluster University in Kurnool. His remarks came during a meeting held on Saturday with the principals and lecturers from the university”s three constituent colleges.
During this interaction, which included various academicians, the focus was on the university”s development, skill enhancement, and implementing student-centric reforms. The gathering featured G. Srinivas, the university”s Registrar (FAC), and Venkata Basava Rao, the in-charge Vice-Chancellor, as chief guests.
Mr. Vijaya Bhaskar Rao addressed several issues related to teaching and research, urging the college principals to collaborate and effectively utilize available resources. He emphasized the importance of adopting a multi-disciplinary approach to improve the research capabilities of the institutions.
Furthermore, he advised the principals to align their teaching strategies with industry needs, ensuring that students are well-prepared for future employment. The commitment to advancing the educational experience for rural students was reiterated by Registrar Srinivas, who highlighted the university”s focus on innovative teaching and research initiatives.
