José Elías, a prominent entrepreneur known for his ownership of La Sirena and Audax Renovables, recently challenged the popular notion that healthy habits such as exercising can lead to financial wealth. He emphasized that while these habits are commendable, they do not directly correlate with economic prosperity.
Elías pointed out that many people mistakenly believe that maintaining a healthy lifestyle will automatically lead to financial success. He argued that while engaging in activities like exercising, avoiding drugs, resting adequately, and eating well are beneficial, they do not inherently create wealth. “A formula that only enriches the person selling you the course on how to achieve it,” he stated, critiquing the idea that these practices have a direct cause-and-effect relationship with financial gain.
Using himself as an example, Elías explained that there is no definitive link between adopting certain healthy habits and becoming wealthy. He concluded by asserting that the concept of becoming rich solely by embracing specific lifestyle practices is overly simplistic and misleading.
