Join the Scientific Society for Astrobiology to Enhance Research Collaboration

The Scientific Society for Astrobiology (SSA), established in May 2022, is dedicated to the advancement of astrobiology by promoting collaboration among its members. The organization aims to amplify the community”s presence among the public, policymakers, and U.S. funding agencies.

Open to individuals at all stages of their careers and across various research interests, the SSA is committed to enhancing the growth of the research community. Initiatives include funding for early-career conference travel grants, which are offered in two annual cycles, and participation in significant events such as the recent NASA Day of Action held from October 5-6, 2025.
