Karachi Students Lead in MDCAT Exam Performance Across Sindh

Students from Karachi have demonstrated exceptional performance in the recent MDCAT examination, surpassing their peers from other districts in Sindh, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The top three positions in the examination were claimed by students from Karachi. Mahmood Khan from District West achieved the highest score, earning 175 marks out of a possible 180. Following him, Ashraf Khan from Korangi and Sheraz Hussain from Qambar Shahdadkot shared the second position.

In addition, Mohammad Rayan from District East, Karachi, along with Mehnoor from Korangi and Hira Abid from Hyderabad, secured the third position. Out of the total 124 students who made it into the top ten, 41 hailed from Karachi.

The results for the MDCAT examination for the year 2025 were announced on Friday by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) in Lahore and the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) in Islamabad. A total of 47,772 candidates participated in the MDCAT examination held in Lahore, which consisted of 180 questions.

This outstanding performance by Karachi students highlights the dedication and academic excellence present in the region.
