Matamoros stated that high-ranking officials within the network are advocating for changes in Lequio”s behavior. He emphasized that Ana Rosa holds significant influence, being the owner of several production companies that create programming for Telecinco and Mediaset.
Matamoros remarked during his segment that for Lequio to maintain his position on air, he will need to adjust his demeanor. “In any case, it will involve a change in behavior,” he stated, indicating the necessity for Lequio to adapt in light of recent controversies.
Lequio has a longstanding association with Telecinco, having first appeared as a contestant on the reality show “Uno para todas.” He became a regular contributor on “El programa de Ana Rosa” in 2005, marking the beginning of his prominent television career.
