Maya Pixelskaya, a well-known personality from La Sexta, is set to appear as a contestant on the popular game show “Pasapalabra.” Previously recognized for her role as a regular collaborator on the show “Zapeando,” Pixelskaya has made her mark in the Spanish television landscape.
The Madrid native transitioned into television after being invited to audition by a colleague. Following a successful audition, she joined the team, quickly becoming a fan favorite. Pixelskaya is also very active on social media, where she shares insights about her experiences, including her first day on “Zapeando.” In a humorous recount, she mentioned three key rules for newcomers: 1) Hold on tight and declare, “You can”t get me out of here even with a solvent,” 2) Feel the electric shocks they use to keep the contestants in line, and 3) Accept defeat while ensuring you face the right camera.
Maya Pixelskaya, who describes herself as a versatile individual, has a background in communication. She began her journey in the audiovisual field at the Complutense University of Madrid, eventually enrolling in a 2D animation course. This led to her involvement in film, including work on the animated feature “Arrugas.” However, after a disappointing experience in the industry, she pivoted towards presenting, notably hosting several eSports programs. In addition to her television career, she has carved out a space in radio as a contributor on “Yu no te pierdas nada.”
Currently, Pixelskaya balances her role as a collaborator on “Zapeando” with her entrepreneurial ventures, where she sells products inspired by gaming and retro themes.
