The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025 is set to take place across Pakistan tomorrow, October 26, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), approximately 140,125 candidates will take part in the exam. An international testing center has been established in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to accommodate candidates residing outside the country.
The universities involved have made the necessary arrangements for the MDCAT exam 2025. Candidates can expect proper facilities at exam centers, including the installation of jammers to prevent the use of unauthorized electronic devices.
Arrangements have also been made to ensure a comfortable environment in the exam halls, taking weather conditions into account. Additionally, a separate waiting area will be available for parents.
Universities will provide candidates with bubble sheets that include carbon copies for their records. The question papers will be opened only in the presence of witnesses to maintain the integrity of the exam.
After the results are announced, the exam papers will be stored for a period of 12 months. The PMDC has directed that results be released within a week following the exam, along with a comprehensive analytical report to be submitted within 10 days of the results.
Official answers will be posted on the PMDC”s official website as soon as the exam concludes. A re-examination option will be available within three days after results are announced. The responsibility for admissions will rest with provincial authorities and individual universities, with all admissions required to be finalized by February 28, 2026.
It is important to note that the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council will not play a role in the admissions process. All universities have been instructed to adhere fully to these guidelines, ensuring that every step of the MDCAT is conducted with transparency, honesty, and confidentiality.
