Telecinco Announces Premiere of “Gran Hermano 20” with New Setting

Telecinco has officially announced the premiere date for the upcoming season of its popular reality show, Gran Hermano 20. This new installment will take place in a different house located in Tres Cantos, marking a significant change from the previous seasons which were held in Guadalix de la Sierra.

The show is set to kick off on November 3, and it is part of Mediaset“s strategy to enhance its audience ratings. In addition to Gran Hermano 20, the network will also launch the ninth season of another flagship program, although details on that show were not specified.

On October 30, Telecinco revealed that this edition of Gran Hermano will introduce a groundbreaking change. The network disclosed the identity of the first official contestant, who comes from Granollers, Barcelona, and is 22 years old. He describes himself as empathetic and warm-hearted, eager to make a significant impact in the competition.

The director general of Zeppelin, Miguel Martín, commented on the new house, stating that it will transform the way Gran Hermano is perceived. He emphasized that the new setting is more livable and features various cozy spaces designed for contestants to find comfort and build relationships.

As for the contestants, only one has been announced so far, coinciding with the premiere date reveal. The show will continue to be hosted by Jorge Javier Vázquez and Ion Aramendi, maintaining a familiar format for long-time fans of the series.
