Trump Predicts End of Maduro”s Presidency During CBS Interview

Donald Trump has stated that Nicolas Maduro is nearing the end of his presidency in Venezuela. This prediction was made during a tense interview on CBS, where Trump was pressed about Maduro”s future in office.

When asked directly whether Maduro”s days as president were numbered, Trump responded promptly and seriously, indicating that he believes the Venezuelan leader”s time in power is limited.

Trump criticized Maduro”s leadership, describing it as detrimental to the country. He expressed concern that Venezuela has seen an influx of individuals he characterized as unwanted, stating, “They have brought in hundreds of thousands of people we didn”t want: people from their prisons. They emptied their prisons into our country. Also, if you look, he was the worst president in the history of our country.”

Despite his strong remarks, Trump expressed skepticism about the possibility of military conflict with Venezuela. “I doubt it, I don”t think so,” he stated when questioned about the prospect of war.

When the conversation shifted to the presence of military pressure, Trump noted that the reasons for such actions are multifaceted. “No, this is about many things. For me, that would be almost the first,” he clarified, suggesting that various factors are at play.

The interviewer continued to inquire about the positioning of an aircraft carrier near Venezuela, to which Trump responded, “It is something big, it has to be somewhere.” He added that he would not disclose the details of his strategic plans regarding Venezuela, stating, “You are an excellent, very talented journalist, but I am not going to tell you what I am going to do with Venezuela. Whether I am going to do it or not.”
