The Women”s Tennis Association (WTA) is celebrating global style and culture with a series of iconic portraits featuring the stars of women”s tennis, released ahead of the WTA Finals 2025 in Riyadh, presented by PIF. This event marks the conclusion of the tennis season.

As the Finals approach, top female tennis players are showcasing how the sport and fashion contribute to the global growth and cultural appeal of tennis. The official portraits feature players in designer outfits, reflecting their unique styles. Notable appearances include Coco Gauff in a custom design by Miu Miu, Jasmine Paolini in Brunello Cucinelli, Aryna Sabalenka in Alberta Ferretti, Iga Swiatek in a bespoke piece by Lurline—a Saudi brand founded by sisters Sarah and Siham Albinali—Taylor Townsend in Hervé Léger, and Luisa Stefani in Altuzarra.

Gauff, the reigning singles champion of the WTA Finals, remarked, “It was great to see everyone dressed in different styles, and it”s always fun to get dressed up. We spend the entire year, going from tournament to tournament, in athletic wear. This was an opportunity to showcase our personality and style and to be seen in a different light.”

This year”s portraits were captured by Yumna Al-Arashi, an award-winning Yemeni-Egyptian-American artist, at Bab AlSaad, a cultural center located in the historic district of Diriyah. The creative direction and styling were overseen by SJS Studios based in New York.

The portraits feature the top eight singles players and doubles teams from around the world. Over the next eight days, these athletes will compete for a record prize pool of 15.5 million dollars, with the undefeated singles champion set to claim an unprecedented prize of 5.235 million dollars, the highest payout in women”s sports history. The singles champion will be awarded the Billie Jean King Trophy, while the doubles champions will receive the Martina Navratilova Trophy. The competition is set to commence on November 1 at the King Saud University Sports Arena and will run until November 8.
