AI Revolutionizes Education for Inclusivity and Efficiency

Artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as a pivotal force in creating a more inclusive and efficient education system, according to insights from Frost & Sullivan“s Global ICT Practice Leader, Alexander Michael. He spoke at the Huawei Smart Education Forum during GITEX Global 2025, emphasizing AI”s potential to revolutionize classroom dynamics by transitioning from rigid, standardized learning models to more personalized and dynamic approaches.

The event, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, gathered a diverse group of educators, policymakers, and technology experts to explore how digital innovations can enhance the quality of teaching, foster inclusivity, and streamline operations within educational institutions. Peter Zhang, Vice President of Global Public Business at Huawei, initiated the forum by discussing the company”s initiatives that integrate AI into education. These efforts include developing general knowledge platforms for primary and secondary schools and promoting AI literacy among students.

Zhang highlighted the importance of cultivating future AI talent from a young age, underscoring that Huawei”s educational initiatives aim to create digital learning environments that not only impart knowledge but also develop essential skills. Michael pointed out that intelligent tutoring systems represent one of the most promising applications of AI in education, providing each student with a personalized learning companion that is challenging to replicate through traditional human tutoring at scale.

According to Michael, AI-powered tutors can quickly evaluate student performance, identify learning gaps, and adapt lessons in real-time, rather than waiting until the conclusion of the academic year to make adjustments. Furthermore, AI tools are alleviating the workload for educators. Research from Frost & Sullivan indicates that teachers utilizing automated assessment software save an average of 13.2 hours each week—time that can be redirected towards teaching and engaging with students.
