Brandon Hall Group Initiates Research on Extended Enterprise Learning Strategies

Brandon Hall Group has unveiled a new research initiative aimed at understanding how organizations manage learning programs for extended enterprise audiences. This study, in collaboration with Latitude Learning, will focus on the training of customers, channel partners, franchisees, and other external learners.

“The extended enterprise learning space is transforming,” stated Michael Rochelle, Principal Analyst and Chief Strategy Officer at Brandon Hall Group. “The need for effective training solutions has never been more pressing, especially given the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence and their implications for learning technology. It is crucial to deliver on the strategic value these external audiences represent.”

The research will scrutinize several key areas, including:

  • Segmentation of learner audiences and the objectives of training programs
  • Adoption of technology, specifically AI, augmented reality/virtual reality, and advanced analytics
  • Governance models and budget allocation strategies
  • Effectiveness of various delivery methods and measurement techniques
  • Integration with business systems and customer success strategies

Organizations that take part in this research will benefit from early access to the complete findings, benchmark data from peer organizations, and insights into emerging trends and best practices.

The survey is designed to take approximately 8 to 10 minutes to complete, and all responses will be kept confidential and reported only in aggregate. The findings from this research initiative are expected to be published in Spring 2025.
