NMDSI Speaker Series to Feature Machine Learning in Economics on November 6

The Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute (NMDSI) is set to present a session titled “Machine Learning Applications in Macroeconomic Forecasting: Evidence from Inflation and Housing Markets” on November 6, from 10 to 11 AM. This event will occur virtually.

During the session, N. Kundan Kishor, who serves as a professor and chair of the Department of Economics at UWM, will discuss the integration of machine learning techniques with economic theory and institutional knowledge in macroeconomic forecasting.
