PL-Universe Robotics Introduces ProWhite 2.0 Robot and PL-WitHand for Global Market Expansion

PL-Universe Robotics, a rising Chinese company in embedded intelligence, unveiled its latest products, the ProWhite 2.0 robot and the PL-WitHand, on November 1, 2025. The launch event took place at the headquarters of JD.com in Yizhuang, Beijing, marking a significant step in their global expansion strategy.

The event, themed “The Scene is the Key,” aimed to address challenges within the robotics industry. During the presentation, the ProWhite Robot 2.0 was officially introduced alongside the four end effectors and the innovative PL-WitHand. This launch coincided with the announcement of an exclusive global online sales partnership with JD.com, with both organizations committed to collaborating on product sales, overseas expansion, service system development, and various initiatives to enhance the industrialization and implementation of embedded AI robots across multiple scenarios.

Additionally, PL-Universe Robotics initiated the “Craft Universe” project, aimed at preserving and passing on practical expertise through embedded intelligence technologies, facilitating the integration of these technologies into a wider array of applications.

The ProWhite 2.0 robot boasts three key advantages: ultra-precision, high adaptability, and enhanced process value, addressing manufacturing needs across various dimensions. The company”s proprietary end effectors for locking, dispensing, lubrication, and welding incorporate high-precision control alongside real-time visual positioning.

Meanwhile, the PL-WitHand, recognized as the world”s first hybrid industrial-grade right-hand, features a pioneering tendon-driven design that combines flexible operation with precise control. Utilizing the proprietary ProxiGrasp intelligent gripping algorithm, the PL-WitHand achieves 20 degrees of freedom, offering dexterity comparable to that of a human.

The launch attracted over one hundred attendees, including corporate representatives from the consumer electronics, automotive, and semiconductor sectors, as well as journalists. Key speakers at the event included GE Jin, the founder and Chief Operating Officer of PL-Universe Robotics, and WU Chaoxin, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of the same company, who also leads the intelligent robotics unit within JD Retail”s 3C digital product group. They discussed the scenario-based applications of embedded intelligence technology and the development of the industrial ecosystem.
