Ralph Geele, a cherished figure and devoted husband to Letitia Geele (1933-2011), passed away on October 27 after enduring a lengthy illness. He was born on January 21, 1932, and departed this life peacefully in his sleep.
Throughout his long life, Ralph enjoyed many passions including surfing, aviation, artistic pursuits, and a fondness for hummingbirds, cats, and cars. Renowned for his engineering skills, he dedicated significant time to constructing engines and various machines.
Ralph embraced a philosophy that guided him since the 1940s: “use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.” His legacy is carried on by his son Erik and daughter Laura, who stand as a testament to a life filled with purpose and adventure. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
